Founded in 2003 by Dong Hyun Kim, his mission was simple, to make fresh and flavorsome sushi and bento available to everyone. Almost 20 years later Wasabi have 40 successful branches across London, other UK major cities and New York.

The journey continued in 2019 with the launch of Wasabi Home Bento exclusively into Sainsbury's. After several years of great success there, the grocery business expanded launching into Tesco in September 2022. Wasabi has now firmly established itself as the No2 chilled ready meal brand and a driver of significant market growth. And we’re just getting started. Our menu is renowned for its distinctiveness, freshness and flavour. The cold food range of sushi, pokes and salads are made fresh daily in our branch kitchens and our hot bento, noodle bowls and soups offer an indulgent and comforting alternative to our broad and democratic demographic.

As we prepare for our next phase of growth and innovation, we have an incredibly exciting opportunity for a Systems Support Analyst to join our IT Team based in Park Royal.

The Role:

Being part of our dynamic IT team and reposting directly to the Systems Manager, the successful candidate will provide essential systems support and testing. You’ll collaborate with our operational teams to resolve systems issues, assist in project deliveries, and work closely with our Business Analyst and Project Manager on IT improvement initiatives.

In this role, you'll liaise with ERP, ePOS, and other systems partners, ensuring our IT solutions support business growth. This is a pivotal position with opportunities to influence the future direction of our IT strategy as we continue to expand.

Key Responsibilities:

Keep stakeholders up to date on the resolution of systems issues

 Agree and document testing plans and results for Systems implementations

Agree solutions with Systems Development team

Contribute to IT Team performance reporting

Research technologies and best practice for supporting systems

Propose the best ways to use suppliers and company capability to achieve business goals

Provide the company with the best resolutions to IT systems problems

Help provide IT operation budget costs

Provide a first-class day-to-day service to the business

Ensure suppliers provide the support that the IT Team stakeholders require

Contribute with the IT Team on:

Improvements to ways of working

IT strategy

IT trends and new technology awareness

 Software supplier selection

As a Systems Analyst, you will support ESG initiatives by optimizing systems for data collection, analysis, and reporting. Collaborate with teams to implement solutions that enhance ESG compliance and reporting efficiency. Your work will align technology strategies with sustainable business goals.

Our Requirements:

Mandatory Experience

Extensive ERP support experience

Bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science

Excellent spoken and written communication & presentation skills

Writing test plans and technical documentation

Working in cross functional groups/projects to deliver business related projects

Proven problem-solving skills

Beneficial Experience

Hands-on experience gained a retail hospitality environment

Manufacturing experience

Understanding of coding languages

Experience working with software solutions and providers for:

ERP (especially Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Business Central, SAP, or NetSuite)

ePOS (especially Vita Mojo)

 Reporting, Business Intelligence solutions (especially Power BI)

Multi-channel solutions

Warehousing, Purchasing, Distribution (Supply chain)

Inventory management and costing

Food production

Finance operations
