Teaching Assistant - 1:1 SEND Support Role
Location: Primary School, SK5 Area, Stockport

Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant with experience in supporting children with SEND? Tradewind Recruitment are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity to join a welcoming primary school in the SK5 area of Stockport as a 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant.

The school is seeking a SEND specialist to work closely with a child who has complex requirements. This is an incredibly rewarding role where you will provide tailored support to ensure the child's needs are met and help them thrive in a supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 support to a child with complex SEND needs
Implement individualised learning plans in partnership with the class teacher and SENCO
Foster an inclusive and nurturing environment
Support the child with academic, social, and emotional development
Encourage independence and confidence in all areas of learningWhat We Are Looking For:

Experience working with children with SEND, particularly those with complex needs
A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
