Job Purpose:

Are you hands-on, detail-oriented, and ready to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We’re looking for a proactive and reliable Manufacturing Operative to support our production processes, ensuring the safe and efficient weighing and blending of chemicals used in personal care, cosmetic, and household products.

Duties / Key Responsibilities:

* Accurately weigh raw materials in line with product specifications and safety procedures.

* Blend and manufacture bulk products according to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

* Always Follow strict Health & Safety and chemical handling protocols.

* Maintain clear and accurate production records and batch documentation.

* Assist with the receiving, unloading, labelling, and storage of chemical deliveries.

* Ensure inventory accuracy by recording all stock movements within the warehouse system.

* Identify and proactively solve production issues using initiative and teamwork.

* Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to meet and exceed production targets.

* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.

Key Skill:

* A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.

* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.

* Ability to complete adhoc duties to suit company needs.

* Good communication skills and a systematic approach to problem-solving.

* Previous experience in a chemical or process manufacturing environment is an advantage.

* A forklift license (Bendi or Counterbalance) is desirable but not essential.

Shifts/Additional Information:

* Full training provided during an initial day-shift period (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM).

* Permanent evening shift after training (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM).

* This position is temporary for 12 weeks and for the right candidate can lead to a permanent position
