Site Manager – Specialist Restoration Projects

We are currently working with a leading restoration company renowned for its exceptional standards within the industry. With a strong client base and a focus on Grade I and Grade II listed buildings, as well as those with architectural and historical significance, this company is recognised for its expertise and success in the specialist restoration sector. Due to rapid growth and an expanding portfolio, they are seeking an experienced and dedicated Site Manager to join their team and oversee projects across London.
The Role:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading teams and ensuring the successful completion of projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. We are looking for a motivated, adaptable individual with a passion for restoration and the expertise to manage projects confidently.
Essential Skills & Experience:
The successful applicant will have:
* A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in construction and restoration
* Strong organisational and leadership skills
* Extensive knowledge of restoration, refurbishment, and finishing
* Proven experience in site management
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* A track record of delivering projects on time, with precision and quality
* High levels of motivation and commitment to excellence
* Awareness of contractual obligations and health and safety regulations
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage direct and sub-contractor teams to ensure smooth project execution
* Maintain the highest quality control and standards on-site
* Ensure projects meet strict programme deadlines and contractual requirements
* Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and maintain health and safety records
* Manage and update the Construction Phase Plan in coordination with surveyors and the Project Coordinator
* Oversee all project administration, scheduling, and health and safety documentation
* Actively address challenges to deliver results that exceed client expectations
