This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Procurement Leader to join a globally reaching manufacturing business.

You will be overseeing a team of 4 (Production Planner, Warehouse Manager, Customer Service Manager, Supply Chain Support) 

Duties

Forecasting levels of demands for products & budgeting.
Develop strategies to ensure that cost savings and supplier performance targets are met.
Undertake value for money reviews of existing supplier contracts.
Develop a comprehensive company purchasing strategy
Capturing manufacturing costs – analysing organisational spend
Produce supplier reports and statistics on spend by supplier/product
Analyse company overheads spend and produce & implement a cost reduction plan.
Manage preferred suppliers in terms of value, support and capability.
Build & Maintain excellent relationships with suppliers.
Negotiate and agree contracts & purchasing agreements.
Deliver structured procurement and buying processes.
Monitor ongoing compliance with purchasing policies and procedures.
Work with operations in regard to Non-Conformance – supplier related issues.
Requirements

MRP and ERP system experience
Experience within a Manufacturing/Engineering business (Desirable)
Experience of Production scheduling (Desirable)
