About our Client:

Role Overview:
The SHEQ Advisor is responsible for driving continual improvement in Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental practices across sites and depots. This role plays a key part in developing best practices as part of the company’s zero accident, incident, and defect strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support the development and implementation of HSQE policies and procedures.

* Conduct risk assessments and site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.

* Provide HSQE guidance and training to employees and subcontractors.

* Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, implementing corrective actions.

* Ensure compliance with legislation, industry standards, and best practices.

* Maintain accurate HSQE records and produce reports for senior management.

* Liaise with regulatory bodies, clients, and stakeholder’s on HSQE matters.

* Assist in audits and inspections, ensuring compliance gaps are addressed.

* Promote a proactive safety culture through engagement and awareness initiatives.

What We’re Looking For:

* Previous HSQE experience in a similar role.

* Auditing experience with a strong understanding of compliance.

* Commitment to company values and a proactive safety approach.

* Multi-Utility experience in Gas, Water, and Electric sectors.

* Knowledge of ISO management systems(9001, 14001, and 18001).

* A NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification.

* A full UK driving license.
