We are recruiting a Primary Teaching Assistant on behalf of a lovely Primary school in Derby.

This is a long-term position with an immediate start.

Working hours: 8:30-12:30, Monday to Friday.

Roles and responsibilities:

* Provide Phonics interventions to a small group of KS1 students.

* Behaviour management.

* Support the teacher by helping to prepare and organise lesson materials.

* Foster a positive and inclusive working environment to ensure the engagement of all pupils.

Requirements:

* Experience of working with children is essential.

* Experience of teaching Phonics is desirable.

* Experience of using Little Wandle is advantageous.

* Good communication and interpersonal skills.

* A Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent is desirable.

* Have or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.

* Be able to provide x2 professional references.
