An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic individual to join a growing projects team as a Project & Health & Safety Coordinator. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, with responsibilities spanning supplier management, health and safety compliance, and onsite coordination. You'll play a key role in ensuring smooth project operations while upholding safety and quality standards.
Description of the role:
Maintain and update supply chain administration systems for accurate planning and reporting.
Oversee supplier selection, evaluation, and contract negotiation.
Negotiate and administer legal supplier contracts.
Manage external engineers' training needs and oversee compliance with relevant H&S standards.
Lead in-house health and safety training sessions.
Coordinate health and safety on construction sites, including site audits and RAMS issuance.
Ensure compliance with CDM 2015 regulations when acting as Principal Contractor.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses while maintaining records.
Oversee vehicle and equipment maintenance and servicing.
Ensure appropriate PPE is available for all staff.About you:
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact across all levels.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation and best practices.
IOSH/NEBOSH qualifications.
