Our client is looking for an experienced Highway Inspector to work a short-term contract in Newcastle.

Job Description:

* Oversee the contractors work

* Assisting other inspectors

* Inspecting of an A road

* Ensuring the safety of the roads

* Enforcing highway regulations

* Supervise reactive and highway maintenance work

* Maintain detailed records of work completed

Personal Specification:

* Full Clean UK Driving Licence

* Highway experience is desirable

* Must be capable to walk significant miles on a daily basis

* A degree in civic engineering, construction management or equivalent is desirable
