Job Vacancy: Full-Time Science Teacher (SEMH Specialist School)
Location: Christchurch
Start Date: Easter 2025
Contract: Temporary (until the end of the academic year)

Are you a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students? Our SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) Specialist School in Christchurch is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join our team on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach Science to students across KS2, KS3, and KS4 (ages 6-16)
Develop and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the needs of students with SEMH
Create a positive, nurturing environment where students can thrive academically and personally
Collaborate with a supportive team of staff to provide a holistic approach to learning
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them achieve their full potential
About You:

Qualified teacher status (QTS) and a background in Science (preferred)
Experience teaching Science at KS2, KS3, and KS4
Passionate about supporting students with SEMH and a strong commitment to inclusive education
Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
