My client based in Hounslow are looking for a talented individual to join their team. They are looking for an airfreight operations specialist who strives to deliver high quality outcomes and is looking for a new opportunity, with a view to grow in the company. The operations staff control shipments from door to door during import and export air freight procedures. A positive mindset is crucial to the business, but they must also be motivated and want to be part of a specialised team of Dangerous Goods Airfreight Specialists.
 
Duties will include:

Managing agents and customers directly.
Sequoia experience is advantageous
Liaising with customers for every aspect of their shipment.
Finding solutions by Air, Road & Sea for highly regulated shipments.
Making export airline bookings with airlines.
Tracking shipments and providing updates.
Customer invoicing and creditor invoice processing in a timely manner.
Collection and delivery of freight
Assisting with packing, documentation, driving, warehousing and other tasks from time to time.
Handling/Lifting packages up to 30kg The successful applicant:

Must have knowledge of Airfreight Operations with a Freight Forwarder.
DG accredited would be an advantage.
Computer literacy MS Word, MS Excel and Gmail.
Good communication skills
Attention to detail and be able to work independently as well as working within a team environment. Job Type: Full-time

Pay:

£28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
