Job Description:

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to play a pivotal role in advancing renewable energy projects. Reporting to the Operations & Grid Director, you will lead efforts to optimise grid connections, perform feasibility studies, and ensure regulatory compliance for a portfolio of renewable energy sites. The Electrical Engineer will drive innovation and efficiency while mentoring junior engineers, contributing to the company’s vision of a sustainable energy future.

Key Responsibilities:

* Optimise grid connections and support grid assessments.

* Conduct feasibility studies, technical assessments, and site analyses.

* Prepare and submit G99 and/or transmission applications.

* Oversee grid connection contracts and manage related payments.

* Handle technical, legal, and commercial queries in grid offers.

* Enhance efficiencies through data analysis of operational assets.

* Develop technical specifications and tender requirements.

* Ensure compliance with UK regulations and safety protocols.

* Provide training and mentorship to team members.

Skills & Experience:

Essential:

* Degree or HNC+ in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent.

* Minimum 5 years’ experience in renewable energy networks or consultancy.

* Proficiency in HV/EHV systems.

* Strong interest in decarbonization and net-zero initiatives.

* Full UK driving license.
