If so, Belcan Workforce Solutions has an exciting opportunity with a multinational oil and gas corporation at their site based in Fife.

This is a 12 month contract position and is full time based on site on an Inside of IR35 basis.

What we will need from you?

Main Functions

As a Day Process Assistant you will be responsible for assisting the process operations team in the field in a supporting role to achieve operational excellence and continued safe operations. The candidate will perform all tasks with personal safety as a priority.

The Day Process Assistant's Tasks and responsibilities

Work cooperatively with Contractor personnel to prepare and maintain a safe work environment for their work
Safely perform physical tasks e.g. moving drums of chemicals, lifting, climbing ladders/tanks
Offloading various chemical tankers
Performing operational safety checks on Emergency Equipment
Lubrication system top ups
Filter cleaning on process equipment
Fugitive emission surveying
Forklift duties
Performing sample analysis of various process streams
Responsible for maintaining good housekeeping in work area and taking ownership for issues identified
Chemical inventory management
Safety critical & product quality equipment checks/minor maintenance
Temporary equipment setup
Third-party contractor hosting

Skills and Qualifications

Industry experience in petrochemical operations, or similar preferred
Highest standard of Safety, Health, Environment aptitude and cultivates the same in others
Excellent communications (oral & written) in English
Forklift driver experience desirable
Computer Literacy required (emails, word, excel etc)
