This small satellite site, part of a larger manufacturing group, are looking for a General Manager to drive continuous improvement across the business. Supported by group functions in sales, finance and HR, this role will be responsible for OTIF and RFT for some technically challenging and very interesting product applications. The production capability of this site it truly impressive, comparative to its size, so you can be sure you’ll provide a competitive plastic injection moulding service.
You’ll be responsible for a small team and everything that goes into running a site, including P&L management, 1st line HR and customer engagement – albeit the customer engagement is more technical discussions as opposed to ‘selling’
To be considered for this position we are looking for candidates that have
* In depth experience of plastic injection moulding and tooling – it’s quite possible you’ll be a lifer in the industry
* Good leadership experience, the team is small and close knit but you’ll encounter all the usual challenges of running a site
* Good knowledge of improvement techniques relative to plastic injection moulding
