Welder / Fabricator

Location: Ely, Cambridgeshire

Hours: Monday – Thursday 8am – 5pm, Friday 8am – 4pm

Hourly Rate / Salary: £13 - £16 P/H dependant on experience

Benefits: Holiday Pay & Pension

Duration: 8 weeks temporary (possible extension)

Working for an agricultural specialist we are looking for candidates who have experience in MIG and/or TIG welding that are looking for a short term contract of 8 weeks. For candidates who are looking for longer term work extensions are possible! Our hourly rate for the role is dependant on skill set and negotiable upon completion of a welding test.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Performing MIG and TIG welding on materials such as steel, aluminium & stainless steel

* Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

* Preparing materials, including cutting, shaping, and fitting components for welding.

* Inspecting completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and tolerances.

* Maintaining and servicing welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.

* Working in a team environment to meet production deadlines and safety standards.

* Adhering to all health and safety regulations.

What we are looking for:

* Welding of equipment and machinery is advantageous

* Confidence to complete a weld test

* Experienced in all aspects of welding TIG and MIG is preferred
