An Interior Design Associate job is available in London! The successful candidate will join a leading multidisciplinary studio working on some of the most luxurious projects in the UK and internationally. Strong leadership and mentoring skills and experience working on FF&E, interior architecture and project management are essential. Salary of up to £65,000 + benefits!

This interior design and architecture studio is known not only for their exquisite portfolio of projects but also for their fantastic employee benefits and career development opportunities. With an ever-growing pipeline of work, they are now looking for an Interior Design Associate to lead their design team to successfully deliver high calibre projects.

With a strong creative eye and a practical approach, the successful candidate will be responsible for all the design work produced by their team and shall ensure it meets the company's high standards of quality, timeliness and innovation.

Role & Responsibilities

- Leading UHNWI client relationships and project presentations
- Supporting the Directors with new business enquiries
- Leading the stylistic direction of projects
- Producing/overseeing the production of design presentations
- Producing bespoke luxury furniture and joinery design
- Reviewing/amending tender and shop drawings
- Leading the team's creation and execution of bespoke designs
- Responsible for the creative output of projects
- Ensuring project deadlines are met and that projects are run in an organised and structured manner
- Ensuring that everything from design presentations, site installations, FF&E items and dressing are executed to the highest standard
- Identifying risk factors and catching problems early
- Successfully overseeing high value and complex FF&E packages on their projects.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in luxury interior design including a minimum of two years on projects in London and some international experience
- Proven experience leading luxury projects across all stages
- Experience and ability liaising directly with UHNWI
- Excellent eye for design and the ability to lead the stylistic direction of projects
- Extensive experience in bespoke luxury furniture and joinery design
- Must have the ability to create innovative designs and technical skills to review tender and shop drawings
- Strong understanding and oversight of project delivery
- Proficient in InDesign, Photoshop, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite
- ArchiCAD experience preferable
- Knowledge of Sketch-Up and EstiPC would be useful but aren't essential.
