We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at a school. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. This role requires a deep understanding of human physiology and anatomy, as well as the ability to develop tailored therapy plans that meet the unique needs of each client.

Duties

* Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders.

* Develop and implement individualised treatment plans based on assessment results.

* Provide therapy sessions to clients in a variety of settings, including clinics, schools, and homes.

* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, educators, and families to ensure holistic care.

* Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

* Educate clients and their families about speech and language disorders and strategies for improvement.

* Maintain accurate records of client assessments, treatments, and progress reports.

Skills

* Strong knowledge of physiology related to speech and language functions.

* Dysphagia experience

* Proficiency in speech therapy techniques and interventions.

* Understanding of anatomy relevant to communication processes.

* Familiarity with medical terminology related to speech-language pathology.

* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

* Empathy and patience when working with clients of all ages.

* Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
