Working Hours: 9 am - 5 pm, Monday to Friday

About the Role: APN Recruitment is seeking a meticulous and organized Payroll Assistant to join the finance team of a dynamic and culturally rich company located in Redditch. Key Responsibilities:
* Payroll Processing: Accurately handle payroll operations using Sage 50, ensuring timely and correct payments.
* Accounts Reconciliation: Conduct regular reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
* Credit Control: Assist with basic credit control tasks to manage accounts receivables and ensure timely collections.
* Database Management: Update and maintain the employee database ensuring accuracy in records.
* Holiday Requests Management: Process and manage employee holiday requests according to company policies.
* General Administration: Provide support to both the finance and HR departments with various administrative tasks.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience in payroll processing, ideally with proficiency in Sage 50.
* Understanding of accounts reconciliation and basic credit control practices.
* High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
* Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
* Effective communication skills, capable of handling both written and verbal interactions.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
