Located near the Solihull area, this company is working through a considerable period of growth and is looking for someone, with full autonomy to do so will help drive quality excellence.

Overview -

Reporting to the Managing Director the successful professional will manage the full quality function, whilst executing a quality vision that supports the overall business strategy.

Quality Director responsibilities include -

Support plant process reviews and deal with customer/supplier-related concerns.
Implement quality strategies to improve business performance, meet objectives, and mitigate risks.
Oversee quality systems, ensuring compliance with standards and customer expectations.
Ensure quality processes are in place to achieve operational excellence and meet requirements.
Monitor and report key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement.Quality Director desirable skills and experience -

Strong knowledge of quality management systems, and CI/lean methodologies.
Experience of driving quality improvements and operational excellence.
Knowledge of QMS such as ISO 9001, AS 9100, or IATF 16949.
Mechanical engineering education (HNC/HNC), or relevant training.Quality Director benefits include -
