Remarkable Jobs is recruiting on behalf of a leading film and lighting hire company, seeking a PAT Tester & Equipment Repairs Technician to join their vibrant team in Enfield/Edmonton. This full-time, permanent role offers an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with cutting-edge lighting and AV equipment, essential to some of the most exciting film and production events in the industry!

As the PAT Tester & Equipment Repairs Technician, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring that all equipment is tested, repaired, and maintained to the highest standards, ready for action on high-profile productions.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform thorough Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) on all lighting and AV equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Conduct electrical and mechanical repairs to restore faulty or damaged equipment, ensuring it's fully operational and ready for hire.
Diagnose issues quickly and accurately, applying your skills to maintain equipment at its peak performance.
Manage stock control, track faulty equipment, and report damage to ensure an efficient repair cycle.
Work collaboratively with the team to ensure all equipment is organised and ready for use, keeping production schedules on track.

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in PAT testing and equipment repairs (lighting/AV equipment experience is a plus!)
A strong understanding of electrical systems and the ability to carry out mechanical repairs
Great organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure
IT literate, with the ability to manage reports and equipment tracking
Flexibility to work occasional weekends and overtime as needed
