Civil Technician – Liverpool
Vertical Recruitment is working with an independent engineering consultancy that is always open to considering talented individuals with experience or potential in design and the preparation of drawn information. With offices in Liverpool and Milton Keynes, they provide Civil and Structural Engineering solutions for projects across the UK.
Their dynamic, multi-disciplinary team delivers high-quality consultancy services across a wide range of sectors, including residential, commercial, leisure, and education.
As a Civil Technician, you will support engineers in delivering high-quality design solutions, focusing on highways, drainage, and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting in the production of S278/S38 highways packages, S104/S185 drainage packages, and external levels drawings.
* Using AutoCAD and, where possible, PDS/Site 3D modelling software to produce accurate design drawings.
* Supporting engineers in preparing technical reports and calculations.
* Assisting in site visits and inspections.
* Collaborating with project teams to ensure efficient and high-quality delivery.
Requirements:
* Proficiency in AutoCAD.
* Experience with PDS/Site 3D and MicroDrainage / Flow / InfoDrainage is advantageous.
* Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team.
