Back End SmartCOMM Developer

Duration: 6 months rolling Contract
Location: fully remote anywhere in UK
Daily rate: Inside IR35 open DOE 

We are seeking an experienced Back End SmartCOMM Developer to join my client's technology team in the financial services sector.

About the role:

You will be responsible for developing, integrating, and maintaining backend systems supporting SmartCOMM solutions, with a focus on scalability, security, and performance. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver robust backend solutions for document production and regulatory compliance.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain backend systems for SmartCOMM/Thunderhead solutions.
Implement RESTful APIs using Java (Spring Framework, Hibernate) to support document production.
Ensure system stability and compliance through cloud integration (AWS Cloud, Cloud Foundry).
Manage secure API gateways using Layer 7 and oversee version control with Git.

Requirements you need to meet:

3+ years of experience in SmartCOMM/Thunderhead backend development.
Proficiency in Java and familiarity with AWS Cloud.
Strong problem-solving skills and experience with API management tools (Layer 7).
Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
