Teachwise is currently looking for an experienced English Tutor to work on a part-time basis at a secondary school in the Bury area. The role will involve working on a 1-1 basis with pupils in year 9 and year 10, helping and supporting them with their English work.

You will need to have previous experience working as an English tutor to secondary age pupils either from within a school or similar setting. The role will be based partly within the school with some online tuition work available as well.

The position will start after Easter and will continue on a part-time basis until further notice. The tuition sessions will be in blocks of 3 hours.

Key Requirements:

* Previous experience tutoring secondary age pupils in English

* Ability to work on a 1-1 basis

* Familiarity with the English curriculum

* Able to provide own resources

* Hold right to work in the UK

* Hold an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service

* Available from after Easter on a per-time basis
