We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Site Engineer with setting out experience to join our clients growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of civil engineering and groundworks projects across Yorkshire.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring technical accuracy on site, particularly during the setting out phase, while supporting the delivery of projects safely, efficiently, and to specification.

Site Engineer Key Responsibilities:

Setting out for groundworks, drainage, foundations, roads, and structural elements

*

Carrying out site surveys, measurements, and accurate record-keeping

*

Working closely with Site Managers and Project Managers to interpret drawings and plans

*

Ensuring all work complies with health, safety, and environmental standards

*

Liaising with subcontractors, engineers, and client representatives

*

Assisting with quality assurance, snagging, and progress reports

*

Using instruments such as Leica/Trimble Total Station or GPS equipment

Requirements:

*

Proven experience as a Site Engineer, ideally in groundworks or civil engineering

*

Strong setting out skills and understanding of site processes

*

Proficient with surveying and setting out tools (Leica/Trimble)

*

Ability to read technical drawings and site specifications

*

Valid CSCS card – Essential

*

SSSTS or SMSTS – Desirable

*

First Aid at Work – Desirable

*

Full UK Driving Licence – Essential
