Your Impact

As a Fire Engineer at Foster + Partners, you will be a key player in shaping fire strategies for world-class projects. From concept to completion, you will work closely with our globally renowned design teams to integrate innovative fire engineering solutions into breathtaking architectural masterpieces.

Your Responsibilities

* Innovate & Advise – Guide our design teams on cutting-edge fire strategies that enhance both safety and design integrity.

* Develop & Design – Prepare, refine, and edit circulation plans, drawings, and CFD models for smoke ventilation, sprinkler systems, fire detection, and alarm systems.

* Solve Complex Challenges – Provide tailored fire engineering solutions for both simple and highly complex projects across the globe.

* Ensure Compliance & Best Practice – Analyse project designs in relation to fire performance requirements, advising on applicable legislation and codes.

* Create Strategic Guidelines – Develop best-practice principles for both passive and active fire safety systems, ensuring a holistic approach to fire engineering.

* Collaborate & Present – Work closely with integrated design teams, external consultants, and clients, presenting fire strategies and negotiating with enforcing authorities where necessary.
