White Label are representing a manufacturing client based in Rochdale, who are going through a period of growth and change. They are now hiring for an Accounts Administrator as an integral part of this change, and are seeking someone to join their team on a permanent basis.
The company is a small but growing business, and part of a much larger group. They require an Accounts Administrator to report into their General Manager and carry out the following:
Payroll
• Maintaining a computerised accounts system.
• Inputting starting and leaving details,
• Ensuring accurate deductions from pay and maintaining detailed records as appropriate
• Calculating SSP, SMP, SAP, SPP, company sick pay, contracted hours, holiday and all other types of payments
• Processing payments
• Running reports
• Uploading pension contributions/ Auto-enrolment
• Completing month-end procedures
• Assisting with the -Apprenticeship Levy
• Processing P11ds and P60s
• Recording and maintain information on details that will be required for audit and other purposes.
• Dealing with ad-hoc telephone enquiries from individual members of staff
Supplier Chain Payments
• Processing & Querying Supplier Invoices
• Prepare suggested payments weekly/monthly
• Forward suggested payment to Management team for authorisation
• Upload payments from finance system into Barclay.net
• Check bank details – for any new accounts
• Forward to DCN for second authorisation
Other Accounting Functions may include assisting with
* Creating and emailing VAT Invoices
* Progressing invoice payments from clients
* Updating Invoice status on database
* Placing general purchase orders
* Downloading and issuing credit card statements
* Collating Credit Card receipts
* Creating PO for all credit card purchases
* Increasing credit card limits
The company are seeking someone with the following:
3 years experience in an accounts based administration role
Experience on MRP systems – ideally Epicor but not essential
They are offering:
Salary -£25-30K per annum
37 hours per week
Core hours: Monday – Thursday 8.30am -5.00pm, Friday 8.30am – 2.00pm
(flexible upon prior agreement)
