We are currently working with a growing Solar company in the North East. They are expanding their team and are seeking a skilled Electrical Supervisor to oversee and manage the electrical aspects of our solar projects. The role will involve travel throughout the UK

Job Description: We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Electrical Supervisor to lead our electrical team in the installation, maintenance, and inspection of solar energy systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, proven supervisory experience, and a passion for renewable energy.

You do not need to have experiecned in the Solar Industry as this is something that can be trained

Key Responsibilities:

* Supervise and coordinate the activities of the electrical team on solar installation projects.

* Perform hands-on electrical work including installation, testing, and maintenance of solar PV systems.

* Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.

* Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality standards are met.

* Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues that arise during installation and maintenance.

* Train and mentor junior electricians and apprentices, promoting a culture of safety and excellence.

* Maintain accurate records of work performed, including daily reports, timesheets, and inventory logs.

* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.

Qualifications:

* Certified Electrician

* Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor or Lead Electrician,

* Strong knowledge of electrical systems

* Familiarity with relevant electrical codes and safety regulations.

* Excellent leadership and communication skills.

* Ability to read and interpret electrical plans, schematics, and technical manuals.

* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

* Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.

* Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to different project sites.
