Key Responsibilities
As a Trainee CAD Technician, you will work closely with the design and production teams to bring creative concepts to life. You’ll gain hands-on experience in:

* Producing accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings for panel products and bespoke furniture

* Supporting product development from initial concept to final production

* Assisting with supplier negotiations and sourcing materials

* Managing inventory and maintaining up-to-date records

* Collaborating with colleagues to ensure smooth project delivery

Key Skills & Experience Required
We’re looking for someone who is eager to learn, motivated, and ready to grow in a technical design environment. Ideal candidates will have:

* Experience with 2D and 3D CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar)

* Qualifications and experience in technical design.

* A keen interest in furniture design, manufacturing, or product development

* Understanding of panel product design (e.g., MDF, laminates, plywood)

* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

* Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
