Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Account Manager / Technical Sales Executive required to join a leading manufacturer of casting solutions to global customers. Manufacturing bespoke components for both industrial and commercial applications, to various markets, such as: rail, automotive, motor sport, valves and pumps, marine and more.

The Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer will be based in Leicester or the surrounding area. Commutable to their site.

The successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer must have a background in mechanical engineering sales. We’re looking for a background selling mechanical products/equipment, components, or a background in sales with a mechanical engineering qualification, as product training will be provided.

Support the implementation of the Sales strategy
Manage and support an existing customer base
Customer visits
Based in Leicester or the surrounding area. Commutable to their site.
Selling into Motor sport, Automotive, Rail, Valves & Pumps, Marine, and various other markets
Manage own appointments with Buyers/Engineers of existing and prospective customers
Preparing accurate and comprehensive quotes for customers and projects
Identify and pursue new opportunities
Attend exhibitions

Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Account Manager / Technical Sales Executive Requirements

Experience as an Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Executive or internal sales engineer looking to progress into area sales.  
An engineering sales background – experience selling mechanical products/equipment, components, or a background in sales with a mechanical engineering qualification, as product training will be provided.
Based in Leicester or the surrounding area. Commutable to their site.
