Our client is a leading independent firm of Chartered Accountants. With offices in both Devizes and Marlborough, they invest heavily in staff training and development, offer regular 1:1s and reviews for support, hybrid and flexible working, as well as a client referral bonus scheme. Hours: 37 per week - shared between Marlborough and Devizes

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £32 - £45,000.00 per annum - depending on experience

The role:
If you are passionate about accountancy and are ACA/ACCA qualified (or finalist), with a minimum 3 years' audit experience in practice, then the role of Senior Accountant at David Owen may be perfect for you.
Surrounded by a team who are there to support you, the role will primarily involve:
Leading audits for limited companies, charities, academies and clubs.
Supporting juniors.
Getting audit files ready for Manager review.

The role will also include:
Preparing complex accounts and tax returns
Some reviewing of simple accounts and tax returns
Supporting partners in the running of their portfolios as needed
Supporting the development of our trainees

Minimum Experience:
Minimum 3 years' audit experience in a practice environment

Minimum Education:
ACA / ACCA qualified (or finalist) 3 A-levels (or equivalent) Grade B or above. GCSE Maths and English Grade B / level 6 or above
