A Warehouse Operative is needed paying circa £25k Monday to Friday ,8am-4:30pm , slightly early finish on a Friday weekly pay, No shifts, Days 28 days holiday, free parking, Overtime paid at a premium.

Manufacturing business in York requires an Warehouse/ FLT Driver, this role has become available due to expansion and continued growth.

The ideal Warehouse Operative will come from a manufacturing, Engineering, or Distribution background. We would welcome people to apply that have worked as a Stock Controller, Material handler, Storeman or Stores Operative.

The duties of the Warehouse Operative would be as follows:

Kitting parts and keeping the kits in order
Picking and Packing of goods ready for despatch
Updating stock
Booking goods in
Organising all incoming and outgoing deliveries
Working on the company computer system

Key Attributes of the Warehouse Operative position :

Experience in an engineering or manufacturing or stock control environment.
Knowledge of picking and allocation of parts.
FLT Licence (counterbalance) desirable
Computer literate with various computer systems such as excel, MRP / ERP / Navision / SAP, Sage etc.
Able to work efficiently and effectively both as part of a team and independently.
