Our client, a rapidly expanding, Private Equity backed business has an urgent requirement for an FP&A Analyst to join them on an initial 6-month, fixed term contract basis. There is the potential that this role could become permanent for the right candidate.
Reporting to the FP&A Manager, this role is responsible for supporting the FP&A Manager with embedding the quarterly forecast process. This will involve preparation of templates, gathering inputs and consolidation.
Duties include;
* Preparation of financials to complete monthly board reports
* Variance analysis to prior year, budget and building out bridges as well as writing meaningful and insightful commentaries
* Working closely with Financial Controller to understand impact of in month & YTD movements and the impact to full year forecasts
* Preparation of financials to complete monthly board reports.

* Supporting FP&A manager with embedding of trading risk & opps schedule to understand worst and best case forecasts
???* Automation of reporting and supporting the wider finance team with fundamental move from monthly reporting to weekly
* Experience of 445/retail calendar reporting would be advantageous but not essential
* Liaising with 3rd party software provider to build out analytical views in the consolidation financial analysis tool currently being implemented
* Assisting in onboarding acquisitions into consolidation financial analysis tool
* Supporting FP&A manager and wider business in development of business cases/investment appraisals
Interested candidates will possess prior FP&A experience, coupled with strong communication skills. This role will business partner with a variety of stakeholders and will also liaise with regional Finance Directors to ensure completeness of numbers.
The role can be worked predominantly on a remote basis; however, you will need to attend meetings in London on average once per week. Also, occasional meetings with other colleagues in East Anglia
