Job Title: NDT Technician
Location: Halesowen
Salary: £35,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, Day Shift

Job Description:
A well-established engineering company in Halesowen is seeking a skilled NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) Technician to join their team. This role involves conducting non-destructive testing on a variety of components and materials to ensure they meet quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have experience with NDT techniques and a strong understanding of industry standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform non-destructive testing using various techniques, including ultrasonic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, and radiographic testing.

* Analyze test results to identify defects or irregularities in materials and components.

* Prepare detailed inspection reports, documenting findings and recommendations.

* Collaborate with the quality and production teams to ensure testing requirements align with production schedules.

* Maintain and calibrate NDT equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.

* Adhere to industry standards, company procedures, and safety regulations.

* Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as an NDT Technician within an industrial or manufacturing environment.

* Proficiency in multiple NDT methods (e.g., UT, MT, PT, RT) with relevant certifications (e.g., PCN, ASNT Level II or equivalent).

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
