Position Overview - SEN Teaching Assistant - Hillingdon

We are looking for a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school in Tower Hamlets. This is a full-time, long-term role where you'll work Monday to Friday, from 8:30am to 4pm, supporting children with a range of SEN needs. You will work both inside and outside the classroom, providing one-on-one support and assisting in small groups to help children with academic and social development.

Key Responsibilities - SEN Teaching Assistant - Hillingdon

Provide tailored one-to-one support to children with various special needs.
Assist in delivering interventions outside the classroom to support student learning.
Help manage smaller groups of students requiring additional support in their studies.
Collaborate with the teacher to support classroom activities and daily tasks.
Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students.Ideal Candidate - SEN Teaching Assistant - Hillingdon

At least 1 year of experience working with children with special needs.
A nurturing, empathetic approach to supporting children.
Strong understanding of various SEN needs and the ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly.
