Well established manufacturing business based in the Mossley area of Tameside requires an Accounts Assistant. Reporting to the Finance Director this is an excellent role for someone with varied Finance Experience who is looking for a stable and motivated working environment.
Duties of the role will include:
* To support the business with all necessary finance administration as required.
* Purchase ledger invoice matching and posting
* Purchase administration, liaise with suppliers and forwarders.
* To proactively expedite deliveries to meet internal and external customer demands
* To source prices and delivery information from the supply base
* Credit control function across the group
* Bank Reconciliations
The right candidate for the role will;
* Be able to demonstrate a broad range of accountancy/bookkeeping skills.
* Be able to demonstrate effective credit control experience.
* Previously worked with Excel, Word and Outlook
* Have a good telephone manner.
* Be an enthusiastic and willing worker.
* Be ambitious to succeed on behalf of the business and never forget to ensure that the details behind all activities have been completed.
* A good communicator.
Thie is a full time permanent role for 38 hours per week. 8.30 to 5pm Mon to Thur, 8.30 to 4pm Friday. This is an office based role that offers an excellent pension and bonus
