Children Social Worker
£35 - £39 per hourly rate
Blackburn with Darwen are looking for a Full Time Children Social Worker to cover maternity.
About the role:
The main responsibilities of the role will be carrying a caseload of Child Protection, pre-proceedings and some care proceedings work.
You will be office-based for 3 days per week but there is an expectation of some flexibility around this, and condensed hours are unlikely to be considered. The worker will have access to a car on a daily basis.
The office is based in a central town location in Blackburn close to main road networks and approx 10 minutes away from the motorway . There is subsidised car parking available close by.
The candidate will be proficient at IT inputting skills and keeping work up to date, with the ability to prioritise their work and manage their caseload efficiently, and independently but also be a good team worker.
