Contract length: 31/03/2025
Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday 37.5 (core hours 10.00am - 16.00pm) flexible with start/finish
Please note this is a Hybrid position and your base office can be either of the above locations, whichever is closer. You will be required to travel to different sites due to the nature of the role, so you will be required to have a full clean driving license and your own vehicle- expenses can be claimed back for all destinations other than traveling to your base office.
Balfour Beatty, a leading infrastructure company, is looking to hire a HR PM to join them up until 31/03/2025. This role has potential to extend. The HR PM will be responsible for helping to manage an operational change project. This will include working alongside the Program Director and HR Manager to help track milestones and timescales. Also, helping coach and guide managers throughout the project.
The successful HR PM will be able to work from either the Surrey or Hertfordshire office as a base, but will be required to travel to other sites as well as remote work. You are in charge of managing your own diary and planning the month ahead. This role requires you to be experienced in overseeing large scale transformation/ Change projects and be the go to person for advice.
Responsibilities:

Align hiring processes and criteria with the competencies and roles outlined in the new design
*
Support senior managers in creating the Job Descriptions of their team to ensure roles and responsibilities are clear
*
Run sessions with managers to assist in any HR activity
*
Support and understand and further recruitment planning by identifying gaps within the current structure
*
Ensure that new roles or Job Descriptions align with existing employment contracts
*
Support with skills gap analysis and work with the L&D and HRBP to understand any upskilling needs
*
Keep the team and managers informed of change of processes
*
Work with internal and external Senior stakeholders and cross functionally to make sure all project timelines are adhered to and milestones are met.

Excellent People manager and change expert

Have worked on large scale people change projects
*
Can give clear examples of where you have successfully led this type of project
*
Senior stakeholder management
*
Clear and precise communication both verbal and written
*
Coaching and upskilling
*
Can work on a hybrid basis and manage/ plan your own schedule
*
Must be able to drive and have your own vehicle
*
Ideally live in or around Surrey or Hertfordshire and be able to travel in areas along and around the M25
