Registered Home Manager – Nursing & Residential Care

Salary: Up to £75,000 p/a + comprehensive benefits package

Royal Star & Garter and Care for Veterans have recently merged and Compass Associates are delighted to be exclusively supporting them in their search for a Registered Manager to lead their nursing home within the Worthing area. As part of this highly respected charity, renowned for delivering exceptional care to veterans and their families, you will play a key role in shaping the home’s future.

About the Role

As Registered Manager, you will lead with heart, fostering a vibrant and nurturing culture where residents thrive. You will oversee all aspects of care, ensuring the highest standards are met while promoting innovation and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead, inspire, and develop a dedicated care team

* Create a warm, family-like atmosphere where residents feel valued and understood

* Ensure high standards of care, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement

* Promote dignity, choice, and independence for every resident

* Build strong relationships with families, staff, and the wider community

* Oversee financial operations to ensure a sustainable and efficient service

What We’re Looking For:

* Proven management experience in a nursing home setting

* Knowledge of Care Fit for VIP’S or other person-centered care models (preferred)

* Relevant management qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care or equivalent)

* Passion for delivering outstanding care and fostering meaningful relationships

* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills

* Innovative approach to enhancing emotional well-being in a care setting
