Job Title: Contentious Probate Associate

Overview:
A top 200 law firm with multiple offices across southeast London is looking to add an experienced and motivated Contentious Probate Solicitor to their growing Private Litigation Team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic growing department, handling high-profile and complex probate disputes. You will work closely with both high-net-worth individuals and families, providing expert legal advice and representation on a wide range of contentious matters relating to wills, trusts, estates and inheritance.
Duties include:
Manage a diverse caseload of contentious probate matters, including but not limited to will disputes, trust disputes, claims under the Inheritance Act 1975, and issues surrounding the administration of estates
Provide clear and pragmatic advice to clients, including individuals, families and trustees
Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements and settlement proposals
Contribute to business development initiatives, including networking, client events, and the production of marketing materials
The successful candidate will have/be:
2+ years PQE in contentious probate matters
Experience handling a broad range of contentious probate and trust disputes, ideally within a high-net-worth client environment
Strong understanding of the legal frameworks governing wills, estates, trusts, and inheritance
Proven track record of successful litigation and dispute resolution, including a solid understanding of litigation processes and strategies
Excellent communication and client care skills
