Job Duties:

The Learning Support Assistant will provide assistance to teachers in the classroom, support students with special educational needs, help with lesson planning, and create a positive learning environment.

Experience:

Prior experience in a similar role within an educational setting is preferred, but not compulsory. 

Knowledge and Skills:

Strong organisational skills
Excellent communication abilities
Ability to work well in a team
Leadership qualities
Initiative and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional qualifications in Special Educational Needs (SEN) would be advantageous.

Any specicifc Teaching Assistant qualifications would also be desirable

Working Conditions:

The role involves working within a school setting, following school hours and term times. The candidate must be comfortable working with children and collaborating with teachers and other support staff.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
