Electrical Project Engineer

Hours Mon – Friday daytime

A genuinely superb & quite unique opportunity for an Electrical Project Engineer to join a company during a period a growth, investment and modernisation.

The Person:

* Degree or HNC in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 3 years experience

* Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP).

* Experience of working with HV networks, HVAP qualification would be helpful.

* Compex qualification would be preferable or working knowledge of ATEX environments would be useful.

The Job:

* Reporting into the Engineering Manager, lead and manage projects to modernise and improve the plant, in particular the HV and LV Networks.

* Create and review electrical design specifications, schematics, and drawings. Ensure designs comply with industry standards, codes, and regulations.

* Oversee the installation and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment. Provide technical guidance and support to personnel and contractors.

* Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, and budgets. Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are achieved.

* Provide technical guidance and support, training and foster professional development with production and maintenance employees.
