Quest Employment are recruiting a Mechanical Fitter to join our client's team. The role will involve setting up and maintaining a variety of machines, with a focus on ensuring smooth production and minimising downtime.

Job Title: Mechanical Fitter

Location: ST4

Salary: £30 -£32k dependent on experience

Working Hours:

* Monday to Thursday: 07:00 to 15:20

* Friday: 07:00 to 14:00

* 39 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

* Setting up machines to ensure the production of products at the correct sizes.

* Responding to machine breakdowns and carrying out necessary repairs to get them operational as quickly as possible.

* Perform routine machine maintenance to prevent future breakdowns.

* Assist with other tasks as required.

Skills & Experience:

* Strong mechanical knowledge is essential.

* Experience in machine setup and maintenance, particularly an understanding of circuits.

* Welding skills or basic electrical knowledge would be an advantage.

* Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly, especially in high-pressure situations.
