Job Description: In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality plumbing services to our social housing tenants, ensuring their homes are safe, functional, and comfortable. Responsibilities:
Perform plumbing work related to the construction and repair of social housing units
Perform routine and emergency plumbing repairs and maintenance for social housing properties
Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot plumbing issues.
Install, repair, and replace plumbing fixtures, including faucets, toilets, sinks, and pipes.
Ensure all work meets building codes, safety standards, and project specifications.
Collaborate with other construction professionals and tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Provide excellent customer service to tenants and stakeholders.Requirements:
Proven experience as a plumber, preferably in a social housing context.
Must have experience in Part P / qualification in Part P
Strong knowledge of plumbing techniques, tools, materials, and safety standards.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Preferred Qualifications:
Must have a certification or diploma in plumbing.
Experience working in social housing or a similar environment.
