With a central focus on sustainability and excellence, they’re looking for a Director/Technical Lead to drive technical expertise within their Ecology team.
This role will involve managing complex projects from initiation through to completion, including client negotiation, Ecological Impact Assessments, Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) Assessments, and more.
Your technical leadership will nurture consultants and graduates, guiding them through the early stages of their careers.

The Ideal Candidate Will
- Possess at least 8 years of experience as an ecologist with a strong technical background.
- Be enthusiastic about mentoring the wider ecology team and sharing specialized knowledge.
- Have a solid track record in project management and be confident working with clients, statutory bodies, and local authorities.
- Hold a degree in ecology or biological sciences.
- Exhibit advanced survey skills (e.g., extended Phase 1, protected species, or botanical surveys).
- Be knowledgeable about legislative and planning policy frameworks and EIA/HRA protocols.
- Ideally, have experience in ornithology and Habitats Regulations Assessments (HRA).
- Be a full member of CIEEM (or equivalent) and working toward Chartership.
- Hold a valid UK driving license.
