The Demand Planning Manager is responsible for proposing & implementing solutions to improve forecast accuracy by analysing historical data, market trends, customer information & commercial insights. Equally, to build both Long term and Short term forecasts to ensure product availability.

Description

Responsible for a team of two, managing one Supply Planner & one Supply Chain administrator.
Take the lead on forecasting in conjunction with the Commercial Team.
Hold regular reviews & analyse data accordingly.
Interface with customer planning functions to obtain data to assist with building forecasts and relationships.
Ensure compliance in line with HMRC regulations for all Supply Chain transactions.
Use Budget/Forecast data to regularly review site capacity.
Build & maintain a 12 month rolling forecast.
Help drive continuous improvement both within the Supply Chain Team & wider business.
Manage obsolete & slow moving stock to mitigate potential write offs.Profile

+5 years' experience in Forecasting & Demand Planning.
Background in the FMCG industry or Manufacturing.
Advanced level in Excel.
Experience managing or supervising a small team.
Good understanding of the S&OP process.
