NEW OPPORTUNITY: BESS Electrical Engineer - £70,000 DOE - UK wide (Hybrid)

Are you passionate about renewable energy and ready to take a leading role in designing utility scale BESS projects?

Piper Maddox is working with an internationally renowned renewable energy company who have experienced impressive growth over the last few years. Due to this, they are seeking a BESS Engineer to oversee some of the UK's most cutting-edge renewable energy projects. This is your chance to join one of the world's leading EPC's who have over 5GW of capacity.

Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct electrical designs for BESS projects (DC/AC systems).
* Create layouts, schematics, and perform cable sizing and protection design.
* Review technical specifications and assess project risks.
* Collaborate with OEMs and stakeholders to align on technical requirements.
* Provide support during construction and ensure designs are executed accurately.

Skills:
* Experience in energy storage or renewable energy.
* Degree in Electrical Engineering.
* Proficiency in electrical design software and knowledge of UK/international standards.
* Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
* UK driving license required.
