Groupage Operator

Location: Middlesbrough
Salary: Circa £35k (DOE)
Working Hours: Monday - Friday (8:30-17:00)

To coincide with their growth and development plans for 2025 and beyond we are seeking to appoint a new Groupage Operator to our growing team in based from our offices in Middlesbrough.

Manage the day-to-day Freight operations
Handling Import/Export shipments and documentation.
Raising Job files and all of the appropriate operations paperwork.
Liaise with hauliers/shipping lines
Extensive supplier and client liaison and negotiation.

Requirements:

Experience in a similar role: Freight operator/clerk/coordinator, Import/Export operator/clerk/coordinator
Experience with Road Freight
Experience with Short Sea
