Electrical Design Engineer - £50k-£55k – Bedfordshire – Special Purpose Machinery
Platform Recruitment has partnered with a manufacturer that develops special purpose machinery from early-stage concepts through to onsite installation. They’re looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join an expanding design team. You will need to be capable of delivering highly robust and thoroughly tested design solutions as well as leading development on new projects.

Main Duties:
+ Produce concept designs
+ Pneumatic design
+ Design components & assemblies
+ Produce assembly drawings
+ Ownership of product development
+ Develop & test new technologies
+ Machine setup, testing & demonstration

Skills & Experience Required:
+ Experience in electrical schematic design
+ Previously taken a product from concept to production
+ Knowledge of pneumatic systems in automation
+ Special purpose machinery/capital equipment industry experience
+ Design machine modules and frames
+ Hands on and practical

The salary will be between £50,000-£55,000 depending on experience. There is also a generous benefits package available including bonus, healthcare and good pension.
