Senior Electronics Engineer / Great Yarmouth / Full-Time / Salary £50,000 P/A

Position 1 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Electronics Engineer (Marine) to join our client, a reputable engineering services company. This role is ideal for professionals with a proactive approach, strong technical expertise, and a passion for delivering exceptional solutions in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage asset movement and prepare all necessary shipping documentation.
• Mentor and support junior engineers, providing guidance and expertise when needed.
• Provide service support for Company Operated Vessel.
• Follow maintenance schedules and field based fault finding and board level diagnosis.
• Liaison with internal and external suppliers and contractors.
• Installation of equipment on vessels, and integration with other systems.
• Preparation, testing and packing of equipment prior to dispatch to vessels.
• Provide remote support to vessels with technical issues, potentially out-of-hours and at weekends
• Testing and repair of equipment.
• Control of asset movement and preparation of shipping documents.

As a Senior Electronics Engineer we require:
-HNC or equivalent qualification/experience in electronics or electrical engineering.
-Experience with installing electronic equipment such as VHF, HF, AIS, radar, telemetry, computer systems, GPS, etc.
-High level of computer/IT literacy.
-Previous experience in offshore or related industries is beneficial.
-Strong leadership and mentoring skills to guide a team of engineers effectively.

Qualifications:
-HNC or equivalent qualification/experience in electronics or electrical engineering.
-Full clean driving license required.
