Inclusion Worker - SEND
Introduction
Qualiteach Yorkshire are recruiting a passionate and dedicated Inclusion Worker to support our partner school who are situated in Leeds.
Job Title Responsibilities
* Fostering strong, trusting relationships with pupils with special educational needs.
* Providing learning support and breaking down content into ‘chunks.’
* Encouraging a calm, cheerful classroom environment.
* Maintaining acute awareness of children’s safeguarding procedures.
* Collaborating with colleagues (e.g. teachers, TA’s) to provide tailored support.
Job Title Requirements
* Relevant experience working with children or young people with SEND, either in an educational setting or a similar environment.
* A genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of students with diverse needs, including but not limited to autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and physical disabilities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
* Patience, empathy, and resilience in dealing with challenges and adapting to the individual needs of each student.
* Relevant qualifications or training in areas such as Teaching and Learning, Special Educational Needs, Childcare, or Psychology would be advantageous.
